San Diego Here We Come!

I surprised Mike with a trip to San Diego for his birthday. Ok, I could only keep the secret for about a week. :) We left Wednesday, May 6 and returned Sunday, May 10.

The weather was perfect! We went to the zoo twice, Sea World twice and the Wild Animal Park. We saw a ton of animals, ate way too much and relaxed! Each day we would leave the hotel at about 9am and be back for me, I mean Marcus to nap. Then we would go swimming or to another park.

Marcus is at the age where the funniest things come out of his mouth. For example, we were walking by the pandas and Marcus said "That panda bear has chocolate chips on his butt!" or "The koalas smell like chips." Hmmm, not sure where he comes up with this stuff....he would try and scare every animal with his lion roar, which would only make the people by us giggle.
We were lucky to get this picture, the first shot he covered his face. Typical two year old. Overall, he did pretty well for being away from home.
